Featuring all the cleanability and hygienic design benefits of our original ZeroSplice conveyor belt connection style, ThermoConnect™ Heavy-Duty Edge (HDE) eliminates additional customer challenges we saw in the field. Its puzzle piece–style design snaps and holds in place before rod insertion and after rod removal, allowing a single operator to safely and easily install or replace ThermoDrive belt sections. Belting connected with this enhanced design does not tent, follows the expected path in the returnway, and facilitates reliable performance in center-drive and bi-directional conveyor configurations.
