Intralox Patents Help Laitram Score Top-15 Ranking on Patent Scorecard

October, 2011- Laitram, L.L.C., the parent company of Intralox, L.L.C., ranked no. 11 in the 2011 third quarter release of The Patent Board’s Heavy Industrial Equipment industry scorecard, a ranking of the U.S. patent portfolios of the nation’s top 116 innovators in the sector.

Laitram received this recognition based on the quality, technological strength, and impact of its patent-based innovation, ending Sept. 9, 2011. The top-10 companies ranked on the scorecard include multinational businesses like Deere & Company, Caterpillar, Inc., and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation. 

Of the 50 highest-ranked companies in the Heavy Industrial Equipment industry scorecard, Laitram also ranked second in the Industry Impact score category, which indicates the extent to which others are building upon Laitram’s existing patents. 

Intralox, Laitram’s largest operating division, has been the first company to introduce many of the most revolutionary conveying concepts in the market today and currently holds 490 patents worldwide.
