Today Intralox announced a strategic financial investment in CleanBotix, an early-stage robotics manufacturer that builds autonomous sanitation systems for food processors. As demand for CleanBotix’s cutting-edge technology grows, Intralox’s partnership with CleanBotix will help the company expand their manufacturing and further develop their product.

The investment gives CleanBotix the capital to scale production of their robot, “Rosie,” which automates the hose work in wet cleaning: detergent and sanitizer application, rinsing, and wand swapping. Rosie removes the most repetitive and physically punishing part of a sanitor’s job, with hose work often accounting for most of their time.

This strategic partnership builds on Intralox’s commitment to helping food processors meet sanitation standards without compromising their production goals. CleanBotix’s robotic solutions transform sanitation into a consistent, auditable, and efficient process, helping customers mitigate labor shortages, increase uptime, and improve operational efficiency.

Commercial Food Sanitation, an Intralox company since 2012, will work closely with CleanBotix as they design and develop more products to automate sanitation in additional applications.

“We’re excited to partner with CleanBotix,” said Killian Lapeyre, Intralox President. “Adam and his team have a customer-centric mindset and real-world experience that impact their thinking and designs. We’re excited to help them achieve their goals and be a part of solving customers’ sanitation challenges.”
